At the age of 21, during his holidays from work, Thomas assisted the renowned Dutch still life photographer Bart Oomes in Amsterdam. From that time on, his passion for the abstract side of photography grew.

Today, his work focuses primarily on decontextualizing the mundane, the everyday object, and the overlooked backgrounds of our image-driven world, giving them the grandeur they deserve.

Since 2024, Thomas has had the privilege of having his work sponsored by the famous German photographic institution Leica.
